1. GARDENS AT VREDENHEIM
Many wine farms are acceisble to the public because of the wine tasting centers and restaurants that so enjoy these beautiful locations. Vredenheim is a historic wine farm just south of Stellenbosch. on the Baden Powell Drive (R310) that has a big cat park, playpark and many other attractions aside from the georgeous gardens.

2. GREENPOINT PARK CAPE TOWN
Located adjacent to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront and Greenpoint stadium. Members of the public and tourists a like love to visit the park where picnics and walking a dog on a leash is allowed.

3. KIRSTENBOSCH GARDENS
There is an entry fee, but it is well worth it to see this beautiful and scientifically significant location. Home to thousands of indigenous plant species. It is immaculately kept year round and nestled by the South side of Table Mountain.

4. SEA POINT PROMENADE PARK
This children friendly place of interest is best known for its three sparkling public pools that lie on the edge of the coast overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Playground equipment and food vendours abound.

5. LITTLE GLEN
This cosy park is tucked away on the slopes of Lions Head and included shadey areas with rolling rocks and plenty of places for children to explore. Not that well known to tourists, it is usually not as busy as you would expect.

6. GRAND WEST CASINO
Not many people realise that Grand West Casino is a great place to enjoy a parklike atmosphere. The well trimmed topiary and splashes of colourful blooms provide a French Style Garden difficult to find anywhere else in the Cape.

7. ELGIN RIVER LODGE
The town of Elgin is less than two hours away from the centre of Cape Town. Famous for its export quality royal gala apples, the Elgin river lodge is built on such an apple farm.

9.THE COMPANY GARDENS
The Delville wood memorial is a tribute to soldiers who lost their lives in World War II. Many historical buildings surround the gardens including the famous Tuynhuis, The centre for the book and the South African National Art Gallery.

10. ARDERNE GARDENS
The Englishman Ralph Arderne established the gardens in 1830, and made use of many exotic trees from England and Australia. Despite various threats to its existence, the park endures to this day, as a treasure to residence and the Pride of the city.
11. WEBERSBURG WINE FARM
This expansive wine farm is open to the public where the huge park in the centre of the complex of Cape Dutch buildings can be observed.
12.CAVALLI
Guarian of the Cape Floral Kingdon, Cavalli offers the best place to see fynbos aside from Kirstenbosch Botanical garden. The art gallery, equestrian paddocks, and restaurant are some of the many other attractions on the estate.
13. VERGELEGEN
The farm is home to a greart many heritage buildings and heritage trees and is situated only an hour away from Cape Town central . The lawns forests and flowers will captivate you.17. RADLOFF DOG PARK

18. ASARA
The deli with outdoor tables make this a delightful place to see blossoms in a parklike surrounding. Ahotel has stunning views over a number of lakes towards the three mountains... Stellenbosch Mountains, Helderberg Mountain and Simonsberg.
19. SPIER
Spier is a wine farm that has a restaurant, deli and wine centre on a lake with playpark and numerous other attractions for the whole family. Of all the parks based in the Winelands, this must be one of the most easily accessible and well known, 15 minutes off the Baden Powel exit on the N2.
